Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Channel Nuts
The only drop in solution for Rhino-Rack Pioneer series 6 that is available in M6, M8 and M10 threads.
When Rhino-Rack introduced the Pioneer 6 Platform they removed the openings in the channels that allowed for easy compatibility with standard channel nuts. The only channel nut option was Rhino-Rack's Zwifloc Channel Nuts which are only available with M6 thread.
TRC Concepts has engineered the only drop-in solution for Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 platforms that is available with M6, M8 and M10 threads. This means that you can keep all of your old accessories and continue using M8 and M10 mounting hardware. Like Zwifloc, these nuts can be inserted and removed anywhere along the track. In addition to the increased compatibility, these channel nuts have over 70% more contact area than Rhino-Rack Zwifloc making them a much stronger mounting solution.
This kit contains 4 or 8, M6, M8 or M10 stainless steel channel nuts to suit the Pioneer 6 Platform. These channel nuts are backwards compatible with series 4 and 5 platforms. Alternatively, you can use our Rhino-Rack Channel Nuts for series 4 and 5 platforms.

These things are fantastic. Great quality, super nicely machined stainless. Rhinorack really screwed us with the Gen 6 and removing the wider channel so regular channel nuts can't be used. Rhinoracks alternative - their zwiflocs - are not good, poor support area, only M6, and very expensive. These TRC items are miles better . You can drop em in easy and also they come in M8 and M10 so i feel more comfortable wrenching down on a fitting with them. Crazy to get anything else for the Gen 6.
Fantastic product, great service and fast shipping. Bought the Rhino series 6 platform to put on our tourer and didn’t realise they sneakily changed the channel system and got rid of the wide openings to slot standard bolts in. Lucky TRC has a durable and cost effective solution that let me use all of my existing M8 bolts. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to run the Pionner 6 platform to use the TRC kits.
