Having quick and easy access to your TRED recovery boards is essential. These brackets provide safe and secure mounting for up to four TREDs on Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Platforms. TREDs can be orientated North-South and East-West and the brackets are backwards compatible with series 4 & 5 platforms. They are available in steel, aluminium or stainless steel, and powder coated in textured black to blend in on your roof rack.

These brackets are also available with roof rack specific mounting hardware and to suit other recovery boards:

This kit includes our standard recovery board brackets and a machined insert to reduce the mounting pin hole diameter from 10mm to 6mm. This allows these brackets to fit both TRED and Maxtrax pins. Install the insert from the bottom for compatibility with TREDs mounting pins. Remove the insert to fit Maxtrax pins.

When Rhino-Rack introduced the Pioneer 6 Platform they removed the openings in the extrusion that allowed for easy compatibility with standard channel nuts. The only channel nut option was Rhino-Rack's Zwifloc Channel Nuts which are only available with M6 thread.

TRC Concepts has engineered the only drop-in solution for Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 platforms that is available with M6, M8 and M10 threads. Like Zwifloc, these nuts can be inserted and removed anywhere along the track. In addition to the increased compatibility, these channel nuts have over 70% more contact area than Rhino-Rack Zwifloc making them a much stronger mounting solution.
